Vao Colors Reskins (2.0) - File Description  


Description:
Here we go again. LordKinoda returns with an update to his Vao Re-Skin mod for the 2003 game of the year, Knights of the Old Republic. As you can see from the screenshots, the author gives you a variety of different colors to change your party member, Mission Vao. These are typically traditional Twi’lek colors of her native species.

The reason for the update is to tone down the brightness from the last release. I will admit that they look better now that they’re not so bright, but there is still a problem with the contrast as it is making the coloring a little too deep and I know others will feel that way as well. The author is on the right track, so keep up the hard work.

The author also provides re-skins of Griff Vao, Mission’s brother so they look related. If the author does elect to work on these more to improve them, I would recommend screenshots of Griff as well so people can see how he turned out. This is advice for all authors out there, not this LordKinoda. Remember when you’re making a mod with visual changes, give the audience a chance to see all of what you have done. Enjoy! big grin

Description: I recolored Mission so now there are 4 more colors to choose from. White, Green, Purple, and Red. I also made it so Missions abs are showing on her regular clothes for all colors as well. And added the underwear I made for her in my other skin mod "K1 Underwear Pack v2.0". And lastly I added reskins for Griff as well so he will match your chosen Mission skin color.

Comments: You now have 4 additional colors to choose from for Mission. Nothing too gigantic but it adds variety, and that issomething needed very much in all games that you like to replay alot. The blue underwear skin I made for her in my previous skin mod pack is also in here if you are too lazy to search for my other mod ;) And as you see in the screens I also added a blue abs clothing as well. The colors are separated into different folders for ease of use. Hope you enjoy.

2.0: After seeing the comments and trying it out see if it looked better, I reskinned the colors and made them darker. They do look alot better actually. It didn't look like they were that light when I first did them, but now that I've redone them I definently prefer them more. Except for the white skin. I still think the lighter one is best. Thanks for the suggestions :)

Installation: Drop the TGA files in your Override folder. Don't forget to take ALL the files out of whatever your chosen color for Mission is. Because if you only take the Mission files out of the folder, Griff may end up having a different color than
Mission ;)

Uninstall: Remove the files from your folder.

Bugs: None. Works great for me.

Permission: You can use this mod for your own personal use and modify it as you wish. But if you want to use it for a public mod you can as long as you give me credit for the idea. Thanks.

i like the red and purple, but i dont think mission looks that great white
